Footy is the heartbeat of the outback, especially when it concerns the indigenous people of this land we share. Most city folk are conveniently but blamelessly unaware of the plight most rural indigenous communities face, especially the kids. For most kids one of the main focus's in life is footy (there is not much else available), some can play real good, some wish they could and others just love the game, kinda like us white fellas! But footy means much more to a black fella (men and women) than a white fella. It means hope.
We want to engage that hope, from our experience footy is one of the few avenues for change, social change, education, health, self esteem a better future and life choice.
Mission
To bring awareness and assist the implementation of the need for education, healthcare, self worth and opportunity for indigenous people throughout rural communities via the AFL and in turn creating a better understanding, communion and integration of aboriginal Australia with the larger population. This project would be a not for profit scheme.

Introduce a stronger interplay between AFL clubs and indigenous communities, specific relations provided to communities supporting specific clubs. |

Implement seasonal training clinics throughout various communities featuring past and present players, coaches and support staff. Clinics would include guest professionals from health care, financial, sport and media industries. |

Target various personal, community and cultural topics such as health, hygiene, education, personal preservation, self esteem, environment, finance and indigenous affairs during clinics. |

Create mainstream awareness and education via video documentary, photographic journals, internet presence, press editorial and corporate promotion. |

Make if FUN! Clinics would include concerts, performances and visitations from identites, performers, celebrities and musicians |
